This application is to be used for the demolition to a structure only. For interior demolitions (leaving the structure in tact), please use the Building Permit Application form as this would be considered an Interior Alteration to Vacant Space.

A building may be partially constructed without all the interior elements necessary to complete the building; this document provides guidance on applying the NYS Uniform Code for these situations. A shell, speculative or white box building cannot be occupied or issued a CO upon completion. A separate building permit application for Interior Arrangement must be sought in order to receive a CO.
