Field Description and Tips to Complete

Document information Escalations or decisions required of steering group

For this reporting period describe any escalations or decisions that you need the steering group or project board to assist with. For example, this would be a good place to flag up scope creep, urgent risks or issues and any forecast budget variance.

Achieved this week

List the activities, tasks and deliverables that have been delivered in this reporting period. This is your chance to advertise your successes.

Planned but not achieved

Here you need to call out any activities that you planned to deliver in this reporting period. For example, the finish date on the project schedule was for this week.

Milestones

Milestones are used to track important events or delivery dates in your project. Use this tab to record your key milestones for example, the planned kick off or launch date, PID sign-off, sprint start and end dates, release dates, test dates, go live etc. Tracking planned vs actual delivery dates of milestones is a good way to monitor project progress.

Issues & Actions

Use this tab to record any project issues and any meeting actions. Fields are provided for action status, priority, owner, description, progress, date open, target date for closure and date closed. You can edit the items in the dropdown menus via the Dropdowns tab.

Budget tracker

Log the planned and actual time for each person on the project. This tracker assumes an hourly or daily rate per person on the project. If you need to tracking equipment and material costs try the Simple Budget Tracker.

Risks

Use this tab to document the project risks including the risk priority and mitigating actions.
