Kankakee County, IL – Early Voting Begins for 2024 General Primary Election

Kankakee County has announced the commencement of early voting for the 2024 General Primary Election beginning Thursday. The County Clerk’s office, located at 189 East Court Street, will be open for voting from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Voters in the primary election are required to declare their party preference, either Democratic or Republican, with an exception for those in areas with a referenda question, such as the Village of Grant Park or St. Anne school district, who may opt for a nonpartisan ballot.

According to the Kankakee County Clerk’s office, sample ballots are accessible on their website at Kankakee Votes. Additionally, printed sample ballots are available upon request at the clerk’s office.
